Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Clerk to join our team. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This is a vital role in our organization, as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes
  • Conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with standards
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee the production process to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Perform quality inspections on finished products
  • Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain documentation related to quality control activities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control
  • Responsible for ensuring strict compliance with current GMP practices, regulations, and quality control standards throughout the manufacturing and packaging processes of our dietary supplement products
  • Attention to detail and in-depth understanding of cGMP guidelines will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest level of product quality, safeguarding against contamination, ensuring accurate labeling, and meeting all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform thorough inspections of the packaging area and equipment to ensure they meet cGMP standards
  • Ensure operators follow approves SOPs for equipment setup, operation, cleaning and maintenance
  • Must be able to understand and follow all GMP’s and relevant SOPs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Complete production reports and documentation as required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate and maintain production line equipment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.
  • Assemble and prepare goods for shipment or storage.
  • Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations.
  • Responsible for assembling, disassembling, and operating line machines following written procedures.
  • Must know how to operate forklift and pallet jack.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • The ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality standards for incoming materials.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance roles
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and methodologies
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends or patterns
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate quality-related information across all levels of the organization

Note: This is a paid position, and we do not offer unpaid internships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
